LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT

All implied warranties and/or conditions, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the term of this Limited Warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty or condition, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you. The express warranty terms set forth in this Warranty shall be exclusive, and no distributor, dealer, or any other person may modify, expand, or alter the same without prior written authorization.

This Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

  1. Labor or other charges incurred for the diagnosis, repair, removal, installation, transportation, servicing, or disposal of defective parts, replacement parts, or new units.
  2. Cleaning of the product required prior to the provision of warranty service and repairs.
  3. Routine maintenance as specified in the installation, service instructions, or user manual, including the cleaning and/or replacement of air filters and equipment lubrication.
  4. Malfunctions arising from improper installation, damage, misuse, abuse, improper servicing, lack of or inadequate maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or improper operation—including installation not performed in accordance with specifications by an HVAC-licensed professional. Free returns or exchanges are not available for such issues.
  5. Failure to operate due to damage caused by abnormal voltage conditions, improper wiring, blown fuses, tripped circuit breakers, or insufficient or interrupted power supply.
  6. Malfunctions or damage caused by floods, high winds, fire, lightning, accidents, corrosive environments (such as rust, corrosion, or residual deposits), or other conditions beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
  7. Damage caused by chemicals (e.g., volatile organic compounds/VOCs, sulfur, acids) or particulate matter.
  8. Corrosive malfunctions or damage to coils, piping, or other components resulting from installation in a corrosive environment or within one mile of a coastline.
  9. Parts not supplied or specified by the Company, or any damage resulting from the use of such non-specified parts.
  10. Products installed outside the contiguous 48 United States (the District of Columbia and Hawaii are excluded from this exclusion) and all products installed in Canada.
  11. Costs of electricity or fuel, or increases in electricity or fuel costs for any reason—including the additional or abnormal use of auxiliary electric heating systems.
  12. Any charges associated with the replacement, replenishment, or disposal of refrigerant, including the cost of the refrigerant itself.
  13. Shipping damage or damage resulting from the handling of the equipment.
  14. Replacement of wear-and-tear parts (e.g., air filters, remote control batteries), which is not covered under the parts warranty provision of this Limited Warranty.
  15. Any special, indirect, or consequential damages to property or business of any kind. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you.

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. In jurisdictions where the law prohibits registration as a condition of warranty coverage, registration is not required, and the standard warranty terms set forth above shall apply in full.
